This keychain is made with large polymer clay beads, two round beads and one square bead. While this keychain shouldn’t be handled too harshly, it is crafted to be fidgeted with. The beads fit comfortably within the palm and can be twisted and gently tugged at.
I was worried that polymer clay wouldn’t pair well with keychains, so I’ve avoided pairing the two until now. I DO have a lot of faith in the general durability of polymer clay, but by nature any type of clay can be fragile and keychains have a tendency to be thrown against counters or tossed across tables. It just didn’t sound like a good match to me.
However, I decided to try a couple keychains with large, solid beads and have my husband attempt to “destroy” them. They survived! 🎉 Now I have several keychains in an array of colors that I’m quite convinced are worth your money. I DO NOT recommend TRYING to break these, but I think these should last through the typical rough and tumble most keychains experience.
